Grades Kindergarten through 5th
Marianne Evans, Director of Children’s Ministries

Our desire is that all children. who come to Ellijay First United Methodist will experience God’s love in such a way that they will want to share that love with others.

At FUMC this is nurtured through:

  • interacting with caring adults
  • creating friendships with peers
  • studying the bible and Christian heritage
  • learning to apply the truths of the bible to our lives
  • worshipping with other Christians
  • working together in missions and evangelism

Programs include:

  • Gospel Light Sunday School
    Two different classes - one for K - 2nd graders and one for 3rd - 5th graders.
  • Children’s Church
Each week during the 11:00 worship service ages 4-8 attend an age appropriate children’s lesson which includes singing, prayer and bible story.
  • Son Seekers Wednesday after school program
