United Methodist Men shall be a creative, supportive fellowship of men who seek to know Jesus Christ, to grow spiritually and to seek daily his will. Our primary purpose is to declare the centrality of Christ in the lives of men and in all their relationships. The major concerns are:
Every Man Shares in Evangelism, Mission, and Spiritual Life We provide a Church wide fellowship for all male members of our church as well as any other male that believes in what we do and would like to share in our efforts. We conduct projects promoting fellowship and assistance with various missions of the Church. These activities range from grooming the grounds of the church, supporting Boy Scout Troop 402, assisting with local mission projects to assistance with international mission projects. Our fellowship offers an opportunity for you to fulfill your calling. The United Methodist Men meet on the second Monday of every month in the Fellowship Hall of Ellijay First United Methodist Church. We gather at 6:00 pm and our meeting begins with a meal at 6:30 pm and adjourns at 8:00pm. UMM also meet at 7:00 am the first Tuesday of the month at Cornerstone Cafe for a Prayer Breakfast.
