This class is taught by Millie Kelley and meets
in Room #9.
It is a Bible discussion class and they use the
International Lesson Series--Adult Bible Studies. This literature alternates each
quarter between the Old and the New Testaments.
They have just completed a project of supplying thirty
back packs filled with school supplies and two large boxes of extra school
supplies to be sent to third-world countries through the Gaines Missions
(Campus Crusades for Christ). Each month this class makes monetary contributions
to the Wednesday afternoon program and the Gilmer County Food Pantry.
They
physically volunteer to work on the church grounds and will be participating in the pumpkin patch sales.
They are in the process of
deciding on our Advent project. Last year they gave money to the foster
parents in the county for purchasing Christmas presents for their
respective children.
